Kaolin clay, also known as china clay is one of the main ingredients used in the beauty industry. Kaolin clay contains a high percentage of minerals such as silica, magnesium, zinc, iron and potassium.

Kaolin clay used in foundation blends has a medium coverage, is highly absorbant, adhesive and has a creamy texture. Great in eye shadow blends.

It is also great to use as a face mask

• For Dry Skin: Mix Kaolin clay with Neroli Hydrosol and a few drops of Jojoba oil.
• For Oily Skin: Mix kaolin clay with Rose Hydrosol.

Kaolin clay absorbs moisture, reduces shine on the skin and has a smooth texture. It can be used in cosmetics, toothpaste, ceramics, or as a food additive.
